LEGO WeDo Challenge

LEGO WeDo Challenge

WRO has teamed up with LEGO® Education to design two competition formats for children under 10 years old, based on the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 platform.

WeDo 2.0 gives primary students tools to work on to develop their robotics and programming skills. The block-based programming platform of WeDo 2.0 is a natural first step towards the LEGO®

MINDSTORMS® platform, which makes this competition format an entry point into WRO.

WeDo 2.0 is not only easy-to-use, but also enables students to build more elaborate and complex robots? By using the WeDo 2.0 multihub function, students can connect 3 hubs to one device* and then use a function called “send block” to send commands from one device to another (if they share the same network).

*For the best multihub function experience, it is recommend to use the iOS system.

Please Note: WeDo Challenges are not included in the international final. Teams may participate at the local, regional and national level only.

WRO offers two competitions with WeDo 2.0:
