The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) UAE National Qualifiers aim to inspire a future generation of scientists, engineers and inventors by enhancing participants’ STEM competencies. The competition also gives students, aged 8 to 19, an opportunity to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills.
This year’s theme “My Robot, My Friend” represents a combination of robotics and artificial intelligence. Within this theme, challenges are based on demonstrating how robots can help and interact with humans.
The WRO UAE National Qualifiers are taking place virtually from 4 – 6 June 2022. Winning teams will then travel to Germany to represent the UAE in the WRO International Finals from 17 – 19 November 2022.
