
Abu Dhabi Science Festival is the largest event of its kind in the region, which is held yearly in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The 10-day event attracts more than 100,000 visitors and is open for all ages. It provides fun-filled activities for all family members through workshops, exhibits and shows.
The festival aims to:
- Inspire young generations and encourage them to choose educational and professional paths in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Arts & Mathematics (STEAM).
- Contribute to the development of human capital in the sectors of Science and Technology, in line with the Abu Dhabi vision and the UAE National Innovation Strategy.
When and where is it held?
The festival is normally held during Innovation Month – February, every year in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Due to Covid-19 related restrictions, the festival is cancelled this year (2021) and will restart in 2022.
What does it offer?
The festival offers a wide range of workshops, exhibits and shows featuring topics related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics.
Is there an admission fee?
Children aged 0-4 can enter the festival for free, while children aged 5+ and parents need an admission pass, which ranges from AED 5 to AED 10.
