Our Strategy

ADEK Strategy focuses on 5 key priorities

  1. Build an attractive education environment to make Abu Dhabi a pioneer regional and International Education Hub
  2. Enhance the quality of education outcomes in all levels and for all learners
  3. Enhance alignment of education outcomes to meet Abu Dhabi labor market needs and socio- economic priorities, which would boost the prosperity of the emirate
  4. Provide distinctive and appropriate opportunities for all learners to access education services.
  5. Contribute to achieving the national agenda for sciences, technology, and innovation through developing an efficient and effective ecosystem of education research.

Fourteen (14) strategic objectives have been implemented to achieve ADEK priorities

  1. Attract investments in all educational levels.
  2. Increase the number of expat students enrolling in Higher Education Institutions in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
  3. Increase the students' performance in the Emirates Standardized Test (eMSAT).
  4. A minimum of one local university in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to be among top international universities.
  5. Increase the percentage of Higher Education programs that receive international accreditation.
  6. Teachers in public and private schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to receive the initial license.
  7. Transforming a number of public schools into community schools.
  8. Increase the enrollment of students in the vocational and technical education tracks.
  9. Increase employers' satisfaction rate of UAE National graduates from Higher Education Institutes in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
  10. Increase the percentage of People of Determination receiving specialized services in public schools.
  11. Increase the percentage of talented students whose individual educational plans developed in public schools have been implemented.
  12. Increase the percentage of children - whose age range is (0-4) -enrolled in early education.
  13. Increase the number of teaching faculty members with the highest post graduate degrees (Master's and PhDs) in Higher Education Institutions.
  14. Increase the average of scientific and technical publications in International scientific journals for each full-time faculty member.
